Southwest Mississippi Mental Health Complex is not a state agency or charity, but rather a
non-profit public service agency. As a result, we must charge fees for services in order to
provide the funding necessary to support and maintain our operations. Clients who seek services
through the agency are expected to pay for services themselves and/or to present documentation
of eligibility for benefits that will reimburse the agency for the services we provide. For
residents of our ten-county service region, fee discounts, based on a sliding fee scale, are
available and may be applied for at the time a request for services is initiated. For residents
who are out of state or out of our service region, services will be provided at the standard fee
and no discounts are available.
